Class 1 Container Driver

p Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on Days Nights for our client based in Southampton (SO15) /p p Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK. /p p The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps. /p p Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential.

Training packages can be provided for the right candidates. /p p All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working. /p p Working times are Monday to Friday Nights with start times typically between 17:00pm and 19:00pm, on an ongoing basis. /p p Job Role: /p p Consistently exceed client expectations. /p p Meet the clients operational standards /p p Collect and drop boxes safely and securely. /p p Follow the clients policies and procedures /p p Adhere to driver rules and regulations /p p Complete the relevant paperwork /p p Comply with security regulations /p p Ensure uniforms are clean and neat /p p Keep Vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition. /p p Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance. /p p Candidates must have good communication skills /p p Driver
