HGV Class 1 Driver - Rochdale People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Rochdale to join our well-established client. This is a fantastic opportunity offering Monday to Friday working, ongoing assignments, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, immediate starts, a paid induction, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading logistics business.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver . Rates of Pay: £18.00 per hour (Days) Weekly pay Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday AM starts between 06:00 and 08:00

Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work: Completing trunking depot-to-depot deliveries with occasional store deliveries Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential
Skills
