CLASS 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for dependable and experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our client's transport operation based in Appleton . This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work with excellent pay and steady routes. The role is mostly store deliveries.

• Rates of Pay
• Days Monday to Friday - £17.06ph PAYE / £22.00ph UMB
• Nights Monday to Friday - £18.95ph PAYE / £23.00ph UMB
• Saturday £22.00ph PAYE / £25.00ph UMB
• Sunday £23.00ph PAYE / £26.00PH UMB
• Key Responsibilitie

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects as necessary.

Complete all delivery documentation accurately and return it promptly.

Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding routes and delivery schedules.

Comply with all driving regulations, tachograph rules, and Working Time Directive.

Requirements

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.

Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card.

Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.

No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with overnight tramping.
