Job Description Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -Brewery ShunterLocation: Faversham, KentPay Rate: £14.98 p/hShifts: Monday to Thursday (06:00 - 17:00) and Friday (10:00 - 18:00)Driver Type: Class 1 - Shunter DriverExperience: 2 years Class 1 experience requiredOur customer operates a dedicated distribution site in Faversham, for their customer, one of the oldest brewers in the UK.The Class 1 brewery shunter driver will support the movement of products between the brewery and the distribution facility.
The role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of stock between the brewery's production areas and distribution operation. The role will include: Delivering empty kegs, casks and trailers to the breweryReturning loaded trailers containing full kegs, casks and bottled products to the distribution siteSupporting operations across the keg plant, cask plant and bottling plantCollecting and delivering trailers in line with brewery requirementsOperating a drop and swap trailer movement processCarrying out trailer curtain operation and securing loads correctlyCompleting all movements safely and in accordance with site proceduresWhat's in it for you?
