Class 1 Night Driver – Birstall – Motherwell Trunking Location: Birstall (WF17) Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Start Time: 23:00 Job Type: Ongoing Work Shift Options: Monday to Friday or a two-day-per-week job share Start Date: Immediate starts available ABOUT THE ROLE Recruit A Driver is recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night trunking work with a well-established client based in Birstall.
This is a straightforward trunking role between Birstall and Motherwell, ideal for drivers looking for consistent night work. Full-week shifts are available, with a job-share option for drivers seeking two nights per week. THE ROLE
- Complete trunk runs between Birstall and Motherwell
- Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Maintain good timekeeping and professional driving standards REQUIREMENTS
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 18 months' recent Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points, minor endorsements only
- Good understanding of UK driver hours and transport legislation
