Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver (HGV) Location: Wigston, Leicester Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Time: 19:00 Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 Night Driver to join our team based in Wigston, Leicester.
This role offers ongoing, consistent work within general haulage, with a manageable number of drops per shift.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Class 1 night deliveries and collections Complete between 0–10 drops per shift Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods Perform daily vehicle checks and comply with all transport regulations Some handballing may be required depending on the load
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in general haulage preferred Strong reliability and good timekeeping Ability to work independently and follow instructions
