A day in the life of a Class 1 Shunter Driver will involve moving trailers safely and efficiently around the yard, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle checks, following site procedures, and maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.

The role requires excellent awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE Work location: S740FN, Oympus way, Hoyland.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 points on licence Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential Able to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Good communication skills Flexible approach to shifts and duties Able to follow health and safety procedures Must work well as part of a team
