Cleaning Operative – Holiday Cover (Banking Environment)

Location: Portadown County Armagh BT62 1HY Job Type: Temporary Holiday Cover Assignment Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:00am 10:30am (6 hours per week) Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour (PAYE) Start Date: Immediate Start Available ref : Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to provide holiday cover within a secure banking environment in Portadown County Armagh .

This is a short-term temporary assignment offering regular weekday morning hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation while working independently and ensuring all security procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the banking premises Vacuuming sweeping and mopping floor areas Cleaning desks workstations and high-touch surfaces Cleaning kitchens welfare facilities and communal areas Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Comfortable working alone within a secure environment Must be willing to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required Excellent attention to detail Reliable punctual and professional approach Good communication skills Right to work in the UK Mandatory Requirements Successful candidates must: Provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction Be comfortable using a telephone-based time and attendance system Be able to work as a lone worker Be willing to act as a key holder Be comfortable operating alarm systems Provide valid photographic identification prior to commencing work What We Offer 15.00 per hour PAYE Weekly pay Tuesday to Friday working pattern Short-term holiday cover assignment Opportunity to work within a prestigious banking environment Full training and support provided Ongoing support from our recruitment team If you are a dependable and experienced cleaner looking for a short-term morning assignment in Portadown we would like to hear from you.
