Job Description Cleaning Site Supervisor Taunton£15.00 per hour | Part-Time Evenings | 5:00pm StartTaunton, Somerset TA1 1HESpecial Educational Needs SchoolHG Recruitment is currently recruiting a Cleaning Site Supervisor in Taunton to support a Special Educational Needs School.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with cleaning experience who is confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of a small cleaning team. Pay & Working Hours£15.00 per hourPart-time evening position with a 5:00pm start , working approximately 23 hours per shift .
The role operates in line with the school calendar , including standard summer, half-term and school holiday breaks. The RoleAs Cleaning Site Supervisor, you will complete your own allocated cleaning duties whilst overseeing the daily activities of the wider cleaning team.
Your responsibilities will include
Carrying out daily cleaning duties alongside the teamCoordinating and overseeing cleaning tasksEnsuring required cleaning standards are consistently maintainedSupporting and providing direction to cleaning team membersChecking that allocated areas and tasks have been completedMonitoring cleaning products and suppliesOrdering and replenishing stock when requiredUsing cleaning equipment and materials safelyEnsuring COSHH and Health & Safety procedures are followedActing as the day-to-day point of contact for the cleaning operationRequirementsAs this position is based within a Special Educational Needs School, an Enhanced DBS is required .We're looking for someone who is: Reliable, organised and confident taking responsibilityAble to oversee and support a small teamComfortable working independentlyAble to prioritise and coordinate daily workloadsProfessional and approachableCommitted to maintaining consistently high standardsPrevious commercial cleaning experience is preferred, with supervisory or team-leading experience advantageous.
