Client Services Coordinator Salary: Up to £35k DOE Location: Barnstaple Working Pattern: Hybrid - c3 days a week in the office

Our client is looking for an organised, personable and proactive Client Services Coordinator to join their busy team in Barnstaple.

Youll be an important link between clients and colleagues, helping to keep communication, enquiries and administration moving smoothly across the business.

This is a varied role combining client communication, administration and coordination. Youll manage incoming enquiries, make sure support requests reach the right people, keep clients updated and help maintain the accurate records and processes that keep the wider business running efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Triaging incoming support tickets through their ticketing system, allocating them to the appropriate team members and keeping an eye on deadlines and agreed service levels.

Answering incoming calls and making sure enquiries reach the right person or team.

Managing the shared inbox, dealing with or directing general client and supplier enquiries, as well as work experience and apprenticeship requests.

Keeping clients informed about important company-wide updates, including service and hosting changes and seasonal office closures.

Staying in touch with clients throughout projects and identifying where additional services or support could genuinely be useful.

Keeping client and supplier contact information accurate and up to date, in line with GDPR and the organisations Business Management System and ISO standards.

Providing administrative support on internal projects, helping to coordinate actions and deadlines.

Supporting the wider Operations team when colleagues are away or additional help is needed.

What are we looking for? You dont need to know how to do everything from day one, but you will need to be comfortable working across different systems, teams and priorities, and know when to ask the right person for help.

Were looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in administration and client communication, supported by a relevant qualification, degree or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.

Is highly organised and accurate, particularly when working with records and data.

Can manage deadlines and multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.

Communicates clearly and confidently with different types of people, both internally and externally.

Is comfortable understanding a process from start to finish and coordinating with others to keep things moving.

Can work independently while also being a supportive member of a wider team.

Takes confidentiality seriously and understands the importance of protecting personal and commercially sensitive information.

Desirable experience

Previous experience using a ticketing system would be helpful, as would experience supporting or coordinating projects involving different teams and deadlines.

The person This role would suit someone who naturally brings order to a busy environment. Youll notice the small details, communicate when something needs attention and be comfortable dealing with a mixture of clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Youll need to be calm, considerate and approachable, while having the confidence to take ownership of your work and make sure things dont get lost between teams.
