p strong The Opportunity /strong /p p An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager to join a leading UK PLC, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial property portfolio while acting as deputy to the Head of Estates. /p p br /p p This is a high-profile role offering broad exposure across estate management, landlord and tenant matters, asset performance, and stakeholder engagement.

Youll play a key role in ensuring the portfolio is managed efficiently, commercially, and in line with business objectives, while providing leadership and support across the wider Estates team. /p p br /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p ul li Deputise for the Head of Estates, providing support across strategic and operational estate management activities. /li li Manage a varied commercial property portfolio, ensuring assets are effectively maintained, compliant, and delivering value. /li li Lead landlord and tenant negotiations, including lease renewals, rent reviews, licences, easements, and wayleaves. /li li Instruct and manage external consultants, agents, and legal advisers. /li li Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business objectives. /li li Monitor estate budgets, service charges, and property-related expenditure. /li li Identify opportunities to optimise estate performance and support wider business initiatives. /li li Ensure statutory compliance and effective property risk management across the portfolio. /li /ul p br /p p About You /p p Were looking for an experienced commercial Estates Manager who can confidently operate in a fast-paced corporate environment and step into a leadership role when required. /p p br /p p br /p p

Youll ideally have

/p ul li Proven experience managing a commercial property portfolio. /li li Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and commercial property practice. /li li Experience negotiating leases and other property agreements. /li li Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /li li The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a commercial focus. /li li Membership of MRICS (or working towards) would be advantageous. /li /ul p br /p p Experience working with infrastructure assets, telecommunications property, utilities, or other operational estates would be beneficial, although candidates from broader commercial property backgrounds are equally encouraged to apply. /p p br /p p br /p p Why Apply? /p p This is an opportunity to join a well-established FTSE-listed organisation where youll have genuine responsibility, influence, and the opportunity to deputise for the Head of Estates.
