Your new roleManage (or assist in managing, depending on level) a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters from inception through to resolutionHandle a range of complex and high-value cases with a proactive and commercially focused approachDraft key legal documents including Letters of Claim, witness statements and court pleadingsObtain and analyse medical records and expert evidence to support claimsLiaise regularly with clients, medical experts, counsel and other stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationshipsProgress claims efficiently, including negotiation, settlement discussions and, where necessary, issuing and conducting proceedingsWork collaboratively with colleagues, supporting junior team members and contributing to overall team performanceEnsure effective time recording and contribute towards financial and performance targetsDeliver excellent client care, providing clear, compassionate and practical advice throughout the claims processWhat you'll need to succeedQualified Solicitor or CILEX with experience in clinical negligence Proven experience of handling or assisting with clinical negligence claimsStrong understanding of litigation processes and medical negligence lawAbility to manage a caseload independently or support on complex mattersExcellent communication, drafting and client care skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a teamWhat you'll get in returnHigh-quality, complex and rewarding work within a specialist teamClear progression pathways across junior through to senior rolesHybrid and flexible working arrangementsCompetitive salary and performance-related bonusGenerous holiday allowance and comprehensive benefits packageOngoing training, mentoring and professional developmentSupportive, inclusive and collaborative working environmentWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
