Job Description Metrologist / CMM Programmer Abingdon | Full Time Join a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing business developing high-performance components for the aerospace, electronics and industrial sectors. We're looking for an experiencedCMM Programmerto play a key role in inspecting precision-engineered components and supporting product development from prototype through to final quality control.

This is a varied, hands-on role working with the latest metrology equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment. What you'll do Program and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon/PC-DMIS and Renishaw Agility/MODUS) Develop and improve CMM inspection processes Support engineering teams throughout product development Manage calibration activities and maintain accurate inspection records Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement within the metrology team What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' CMM programming experience Experience with PC-DMIS and/or MODUS Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently Desirable Fixture/jig design (Fusion 360 or Rhino) Statistical Process Control (SPC), MSA or Gauge R&R knowledge Data analysis or coding experience If you're passionate about precision engineering and want to work on advanced manufacturing projects using state-of-the-art technology, we'd love to hear from you.
