Job Description CNC Miller Salary: £35,000- £45,000+ Overtime Available Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern CNC machinery, producing high-quality components for a range of industries including aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, and general engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and ideally programming CNC milling machines to manufacture components to exact customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC milling machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Carry out tool changes and machine offsets. Inspect components using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
Ensure components meet quality standards and tolerances. Conduct basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties. Work efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality. Requirements Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Experience working to tight tolerances. Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas controls is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills Offline or online programming experience. Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining. Apprenticeship or engineering qualification. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
