Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

CNC Miller Rotherham £17.75 per hour Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Rotherham for an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, apprentice-trained machinist looking for a stable, long-term role within a busy jobbing shop environment, manufacturing high-quality components from one-offs through to small batch production.

The Role Setting and operating cnc milling machines Programming and editing using Heidenhain Manufacturing a wide variety of precision-engineered components Working from engineering drawings to produce parts to tight tolerances Producing predominantly one-off and small batch work Carrying out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met Working independently with minimal supervision Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Candidate Requirements Qualified engineer Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines Experience with Heidenhain controls Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings Comfortable producing one-off and small batch components Able to work accurately to tight tolerances Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision Hours Monday to Friday * 7:30am – 4:00pm Overtime available.
