CNC Setter / Programmer – Walsall The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Programmer to join our well-established client based in Walsall.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, regular daytime working hours, an early Friday finish and additional earning potential through overtime within an established engineering and manufacturing business. £39,500–£43,500 Per Annum | Permanent Position | Monday to Friday | 1:30pm Friday Finish | Overtime Available This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as a CNC Setter, CNC Programmer, CNC Setter / Operator or CNC Machinist with proven setting and programming experience.

Shifts Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm Early finish every Friday Overtime available Rates of Pay £39,500–£43,500 per annum Salary dependent on experience and skill level Additional earning potential through overtime Benefits As a CNC Setter / Programmer, you will receive: Competitive annual salary Permanent, full-time employment Monday-to-Friday working 1:30pm finish every Friday Regular daytime working hours Overtime opportunities Opportunity to join an established engineering business Day-to-Day Duties Setting and programming CNC machinery Producing components accurately to engineering specifications Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Setting tools and making necessary machine adjustments Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods Carrying out dimensional and quality checks on completed components Monitoring machining processes and making adjustments where required Identifying and resolving machining or tooling issues Ensuring components are manufactured to required tolerances Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship Working safely and following all relevant health and safety procedures Essential Skills Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Programmer Strong CNC machining experience Ability to confidently set and programme CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and tolerances Ability to work accurately to specifications Strong attention to detail Good problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment Training Provided Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment Apply If you are an experienced CNC Setter / Programmer looking for your next permanent opportunity in Walsall, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
