For the right person, there is also the opportunity to develop your skills and progress within the business. The Role We are looking for a highly skilled and confident CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator to join the team.

This is not a straightforward production role. The company works predominantly on specialist, small-batch components, meaning you will be heavily involved in programming, setting and operating CNC lathes, with a significant amount of programming required both online at the machine and offline.

You will need to be an experienced engineer who is comfortable working from engineering drawings, understanding complex components and taking ownership of your work from programming through to finished inspection.

Key responsibilities include

Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes. Producing specialist, small-batch precision components. Programming both online at the machine and offline. Creating and modifying CNC programmes to suit individual components and batch requirements.

Using Edgecam for offline programming - essential. Working with FANUC controls - essential. Selecting appropriate tooling, workholding and cutting parameters. Setting machine tools and establishing datums and offsets. Proving out programmes safely and efficiently.
