CNC Turner / Programmer - Hurco

Wirral | £18.50-£19.00 per hour | Days | Overtime Available

We're recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to join a long-established precision engineering business on the Wirral.

You'll join a close-knit team of skilled, time-served engineers working on varied precision components for industries including nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical.

This is a stable business with exceptional staff retention, with a number of engineers having spent decades with the company. The opportunity has arisen due to retirement rather than staff turnover.

The role:

• Setting, operating and programming a Hurco CNC lathe
• Working from engineering drawings
• Producing components to tight tolerances
• Varied work - no two days are quite the same
• On-site Hurco training provided

What we're looking for:

• CNC turning experience
• Programming experience
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Able to work accurately to tight tolerances

Hours: 38 per week Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm Friday: 8:00am-2:30pm
