The Role This is a hands-on, technically challenging position focused on specialist, small-batch precision engineering . You'll take ownership of the machining process, from programming through to finished inspection, rather than simply operating existing programmes.

Key responsibilities include

Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes. Creating and modifying programmes both online and offline. Using Edgecam for offline programming . Working with FANUC controls . Selecting tooling, workholding and cutting parameters.

Proving out programmes and setting datums and offsets. Reading engineering drawings and machining complex components to tight tolerances. Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections. Troubleshooting machining issues and ensuring components are produced right first time.

About You You'll be a confident, self-sufficient CNC Turner with strong programming and setting experience and a passion for precision engineering. Essential

requirements

Proven CNC turning, programming, setting and operating experience. Edgecam experience - essential. FANUC controls experience - essential. Small-batch, high-precision machining experience. Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience with complex components, varied CNC turning machinery, tooling selection and CAD/CAM systems would also be advantageous. What's on Offer? Permanent, Monday-Friday day-shift position.
