The Role

Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis turning centres to manufacture complex precision-engineered components. Produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings, CAD models and customer specifications. Utilise Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, ensuring efficient machine performance and maximum productivity.

Carry out offline programming using Hypermill software and make programme modifications where required. Manufacture components from a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, aerospace alloys and other exotic materials.

Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections to ensure components meet strict quality standards and tight tolerances. Operate multiple machines where required to maximise production efficiency. Complete all associated production documentation and maintain accurate records.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the machining department. Adhere to all company quality, health & safety and manufacturing procedures. The

Requirements

Previous experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environment (essential) Strong experience programming and setting multi-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls (essential) Experience of offline programming using Hypermill software (essential) Proven ability to manufacture complex precision-machined components to tight tolerances (essential) Experience machining aerospace alloys, titanium, Inconel, stainless steel and other exotic materials (highly advantageous) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications (essential) Experience carrying out manual inspection and quality control procedures (essential) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible, motivated and quality-focused approach to work Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
