Job Description CNC Turner£19phPermanentNew MiltonAre you a CNC Turner with experience setting, operating and programming CNC machinery? A growing specialist engineering and sub-contract manufacturing business is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join its team on a permanent basis.
You'll work with a range of components and assemblies, using CNC turning machinery to produce high-quality, precision parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner looking for a long-term role with opportunities for development and overtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set and operate CNC lathes and 3- and 4-axis machineryTurn, bore, thread, form and face metal and plastic materialsUse CNC tooling and precision measurement equipmentRead and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentsHandle and protect manufactured components, fabricated parts and assembliesIdentify and resolve machining and production issuesMaintain high standards of quality and attention to detailSupport continual improvement and changing production requirementsSkills & Knowledge RequiredPrevious experience working as a CNC TurnerStrong CNC machinery and tooling skillsExperience using precision measurement equipmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawingsGood mechanical aptitude and attention to detailStrong problem-solving and communication skillsSelf-motivated with a drive for results and improvementFlexibility to adapt to changing requirementsEmployee benefits includeChoice of working patternsFlexible start and finish times (subject to working pattern)Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) delivered by Health AssuredPersonal development opportunities.
