CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) Location: Bredbury, Stockport Salary: £41,000 per year Hours: Days - Monday to Friday About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join their machining team at their Bredbury, Stockport facility.
This is a day-shift position working primarily on CNC lathes, focusing on setting and operating to produce high-quality machined components. Programming is not required for this role. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC turning machines Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications Conducting in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment Maintaining machining quality and efficiency standards Supporting continuous improvement and safe working practices Ensuring accurate job documentation and process adherence Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) Experience with Fanuc controls (editing) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Competence with inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges) High attention to detail and quality standards Team-focused with a proactive approach to work What's On Offer Salary of £41,000 per year Stable day-shift working pattern Opportunity to work with a well-established engineering business Supportive team environment and modern machining facility Apply To apply, please submit your CV or contact us for further information.
