Commercial Actuarial Manager – Longevity & Structured Solutions

Overview

In this role you will blend actuarial expertise with commercial insight to shape and govern new longevity-related structures. You’ll work close to senior stakeholders and front office to translate complex financial transactions into clear, decision-ready analyses. You gain exposure to longevity swaps, pension risk transfers, and asset-heavy deals across international markets, including Asia, with a strong emphasis on strategic impact. This position offers leadership potential as the team and business grow, placing you at the center of cross-functional execution and governance.

Responsibilities

• Assess new longevity structures and their financial and operational implications
• Translate complex actuarial concepts for senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate across functions to ensure implementability, reporting, and governance of new transactions
• Provide senior-level insights on risks and strategic implications
• Engage with front-office and stakeholders on longevity swaps, pension risk transfer, derivatives, and asset-intensive transactions
• Support understanding of valuation, capital, and accounting implications of new business
• Contribute to commercial and strategic actuarial efforts beyond traditional pricing
• Prepare for potential broader leadership responsibilities as the team grows

Key requirements

• Qualified actuary with strong longevity knowledge
