This role is responsible for maximising the value and performance of a portfolio of commercial real estate assets, focusing on strategic planning, financial performance, leasing optimisation, and stakeholder management to help each asset achieve its income and capital growth objectives.

It suits someone who's comfortable working independently and happy to roll their sleeves up, whether that's negotiating directly with tenants, getting hands-on with a site inspection, or driving a redevelopment opportunity from the ground up.

From identifying opportunities to redevelop, reposition, or restructure leases, to negotiating directly with tenants and agents, every decision you make will have a visible impact on portfolio performance. Key responsibilities Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with business objectives, preparing annual business plans and budgets for each assetMonitor financial performance, including income, expenditure, and ROI, while overseeing cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisMaximise rental income and control operating costs, including reviewing and approving service charge budgets and reconciliationsWork closely with leasing agents to reduce vacancies and optimise tenant mix, negotiating lease terms, renewals, rent reviews, and extensionsBuild strong tenant relationships to improve retention and satisfaction, monitoring lease compliance and managing arrears alongside property managementCollaborate with property managers on maintenance plans, CapEx, and asset improvements, ensuring compliance, health & safety, and sustainability standards are metManage relationships with advisors, agents, surveyors, and legal professionals across the portfolioMonitor market trends, rental levels, and competitor activity, supporting acquisition, disposal, or redevelopment opportunities and conducting due diligence for transactions Requirements Around 3-5 year's experience in commercial property asset managementStrategic thinking and strong commercial awarenessAnalytical and data-driven approach to decision-makingStrong relationship-building and influencing skillsA self-starter who's comfortable working independently and confident getting stuck in when neededHigh attention to detail and organisational skills Rewards and benefits Health insuranceDiscretionary bonus23 days annual leave, excluding bank holidaysOn-site parkingWe are an equal opportunities recruiter, valuing diversity and inclusion and welcoming applications from all suitably qualified individuals, regardless of background.
