Commercial Lawyer

Commercial Counsel London | Hybrid (2 days per week)| Up to £100,000 We're working with a fast-growing, PE-backed UK business that has recently completed a significant acquisition and is entering an exciting new phase of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join a lean legal team where you'll report directly to the General Counsel, become the principal legal adviser across the business and play a key role in shaping the legal function as the company continues to scale.

The Opportunity This is a genuinely broad commercial role with exposure across legal, commercial and operational matters. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, support strategic projects and have real influence over how the legal function develops.

You'll advise on: * Commercial contracts and strategic partnerships * Supplier and distribution arrangements * Business-wide legal and commercial advice * Acquisition integration and contract migration * Regulatory and compliance matters * Managing external counsel * Data protection and technology projects * Legal processes, templates and playbooks * Strategic transformation and growth initiatives This isn't a narrow contracts role.

It's an opportunity to become a trusted adviser to the business and make a visible impact. About You You'll ideally have 5+ years' PQE with broad commercial experience, either in-house or from a leading law firm with significant commercial advisory work.

Experience in a regulated sector such as financial services, insurance, energy, utilities or consumer finance would be advantageous.
