Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Barrister 2 years’ PQE/Call JERSEY

Offshore commercial law firm in Jersey is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Barrister of 2 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team is frequently instructed on some of the highest profile and highest value disputes conducted offshore.

Many of the team have previously worked with leading UK commercial law firms, at the English Bar or gained experience in other leading offshore law firms. They are instructed by a wide range of financial institutions, fiduciary service providers, commercial entities and private individuals based worldwide and are involved in a broad spectrum of litigation work.

This includes cross-border disputes; boardroom battles; fraud and asset recovery; regulatory enforcement; arbitration; trust disputes; and, insolvencies. The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of Litigation matters.

This will entail supporting the partners and taking principal responsibility on smaller matters (with an appropriate level of Partner supervision) involving a variety of contentious work, including contentious trust and company, cross border fraud and insolvency.

You will also be expected to assist the Partners with the marketing and business development activities of the department. Applicants will be qualified in England & Wales or Scotland or Jersey or Commonwealth jurisdiction.
