Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Barrister 6 years’ PQE/Call JERSEY

Offshore commercial law firm in Jersey is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Barrister of 6 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team is frequently instructed on some of the highest profile and highest value disputes conducted offshore.

Many of the team have previously worked with leading UK commercial law firms, at the English Bar or gained experience in other leading offshore law firms. They are instructed by a wide range of financial institutions, fiduciary service providers, commercial entities and private individuals based worldwide and are involved in a broad spectrum of litigation work.

This includes cross-border disputes; boardroom battles; fraud and asset recovery; regulatory enforcement; arbitration; trust disputes; and, insolvencies. The successful candidate will take principal charge of work assignments within the group, with minimal partner intervention.

This will entail extensive direct client contact, being responsible for the supervision of paralegals and legal assistants and taking an active role in the identification and implementation of new business initiatives. You will also work with the Partners to grow the business by assisting with the development and implementation of the Group’s strategic plans for the department.

Applicants will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland or Jersey or Commonwealth jurisdiction.
