Acting for global businesses, entrepreneurs and major organisations, the team advises on high-value domestic and cross-border disputes across a wide range of sectors and industries. This Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor opportunity in Leeds offers exposure to complex, business-critical matters from day one.
You'll work alongside experienced lawyers on sophisticated disputes while enjoying strong client contact, genuine responsibility and a clear route for career progression. As a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Leeds, you'll join a collaborative and ambitious team with an outstanding reputation for delivering commercial, pragmatic advice on some of the most significant disputes in the market.
The Role
Working alongside partners on complex commercial disputes Managing your own matters with growing autonomy Advising on a broad range of business disputes Acting for clients across banking, real estate, energy and infrastructure Supporting clients in private equity, retail, leisure and food sectors Delivering dispute avoidance and pre-dispute advice Handling litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication matters Developing specialist expertise in niche dispute areas Building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm The Candidate: Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1-4 PQE in Commercial Litigation Strong experience handling complex commercial disputes Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to client service Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure Ambitious, collaborative and keen to progress their career Committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes The Benefits and How to Apply Competitive salary reflective of experience Annual bonus scheme with earning potential of up to 35% Low chargeable hours target of 1,350 hours Paid sabbatical scheme with the opportunity to accrue up to four weeks leave Minimum 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Option to buy or sell up to five days each year Hybrid working with a minimum 50% office presence Employer pension contribution of at least 5% Death in service benefit of 4 x annual salary Private health care Excellent long term career development opportunities Apply in the strictest of confidence online or via telephone.
