This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong commercial background and is looking for the next step in their career, taking greater ownership of projects, commercial strategy and the wider team. The RoleYou'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial performance of live projectsCVRs, forecasting, cost control and reportingManaging variations, compensation events and changeSubcontract procurement and account managementContractual and commercial correspondenceCash flow and final accountsIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting and developing junior members of the commercial teamWorking closely with operational teams to maximise project performanceAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is currently a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Managing QS or Commercial Manager, ideally with experience within specialist contracting, piling, foundations, geotechnical or civil engineering.

You'll need:Strong commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience managing projects from start to finishGood understanding of NEC and/or JCT contractsStrong CVR, forecasting and cost-control experienceExperience managing subcontractors and changeThe confidence to take ownership of commercial decisionsLeadership experience, or a clear desire to step into a Commercial Manager positionThe Opportunity90,000 105,000 + packageThis is an opportunity to join a specialist business with a strong project pipeline and take a genuine step forward commercially, with the potential to develop into a senior leadership position.
