The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. They are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across the business's project portfolio.

About the RoleYou will oversee project commercial strategy, manage risk and reporting, support the Quantity Surveying team and ensure robust contractual and financial control from pre-construction through to final account.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial management across multiple M&E projectsOversee CVRs, forecasts, cash flow and project reportingManage contractual risk, change control and commercial correspondenceReview procurement strategies and subcontractor appointmentsSupport and develop Quantity Surveyors within the teamLead negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliersMonitor applications, payments and final accountsWork closely with directors and project teams on commercial performanceEnsure commercial procedures and governance are consistently appliedSkills and ExperienceSenior commercial experience within M&E or specialist contractingStrong contract, cost reporting and risk-management knowledgeProven experience leading commercial teamsConfident negotiation and client-facing skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesStrong leadership and commercial judgementBenefitsSenior position within an established M&E contractorCommercial oversight of a varied project portfolioOpportunity to shape systems, strategy and team developmentDirect engagement with the senior leadership teamLong-term progression within a growing business
