The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including: Acting for commercial landlords and tenantsJoint venture work, retail and leisure projectsAcquisitions of development sites for commercial and mixed-use purposesAdvising on commercial contractsPortfolio sales and acquisitionsBusiness transfer work (restaurants, guest houses, etc.)Project management and cross-team collaborationActive participation in marketing and business developmentManaging your own files and ensuring Lexcel complianceCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified lawyer with: Minimum 2 years' PQE in commercial property lawStrong technical and drafting skillsCommercial market awareness and general experience in commercial lawExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesConfidence in managing matters independentlyHigh attention to detail and accuracyMotivation, organisation, and a proactive mindsetEnthusiasm for networking and attending external eventsAmbition to progress, with opportunities for team leadership and partnership prospectsApplications are also encouraged from practitioners with strong potential who may not meet all criteria but can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
