Job summaryCommunity Team Manager - Specialist Childrens Mental Health Services (SCAMHS) East SuffolkThis is an exciting opportunity to join East Suffolk Specialist Childrens mental health team, supporting young adults aged 4-18yr during a crucial stage of their development. Our service sits within Children, Families and Young People (CFYP) services and benefits from a well-established clinical treatment pathways designed to deliver responsive, high-quality care. As Community Team Manager , you will provide operational oversight leadership for service delivery, working closely with the SCAMHS Triumvirate with Principle Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist. You will be supported in your post by a Community Matron and an Operational Manager to ensure excellent outcomes for service users. You will also be part of a supportive wider network, linking closely with East Suffolk YAMHS teams, benefiting from strong peer support and clinical collaboration. This role offers a range of leadership, development and training opportunities to support your professional growth and career aspirations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated leader with experience of working in community mental health services with the under 18 age group. You will bring experience of working across primary and secondary care, as well as with VCSE partners, and share our commitment to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care. Main duties of the jobAs Community Team Manager, you will provide professional leadership and governance to ensure the delivery of a safe, responsive and high-quality service for service users, their families and carers.
