We strongly believe that "The Best People Care" and that is exactly what we do. Job Overview We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to support a 28-year-old gentleman in his own home in Bury St Edmunds.

The individual has a spinal cord injury and requires assistance with personal care, mobility, medication administration, and daily living activities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

This role operates on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday), with day and waking night shifts available. Shifts are provided in advance and paid weekly. Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support in accordance with the care plan Provide personal care safely and respectfully Support with moving and handling using specialist equipment Assist with bowel and bladder management following training Administer medication as prescribed Support with nutritional and hydration needs Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing Maintain detailed care records Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with light household duties Work effectively alongside family and healthcare professionals Experience & Requirements Minimum 6 months UK care experience required Experience supporting individuals with spinal injuries is desirable Strong understanding of person-centred care Good communication and record-keeping skills Compassionate and reliable nature Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence preferred Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
