This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative and inclusive environment, advising a diverse client base across a broad range of construction matters. The RoleThis role involves advising on non-contentious construction law, working both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key responsibilities include:Advising on construction legislation and practiceDrafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, including bespoke amendmentsPreparing professional consultant appointmentsDrafting collateral warranties, bonds, and guaranteesApplying contract law and understanding dispute resolution processesSupporting clean and renewable energy projects (desirable)Collaborating with colleagues across multiple officesDelivering exceptional client service and managing multiple deadlinesCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a construction lawyer with:Demonstrable experience in non-contentious construction lawStrong drafting and negotiation skillsCommercial awareness and client-focused mindsetAbility to work autonomously and within a teamOrganised approach and ability to work at paceInterest in business development and client relationship buildingWorking ArrangementsThe role supports flexible and hybrid working, with opportunities to work from home and across offices.
