Construction Assurance Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead client-side construction assurance for critical national infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality and compliance across projects. You will act as the on-site client representative, monitor progress, and oversee assurance reporting to leadership and regulators. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to drive improvements in quality, safety and delivery, shaping outcomes on major programmes. Responsibilities

• Implement client-side construction assurance plan
• Monitor contractors adherence to approved construction methodologies, QMS and ITPs
• Ensure construction works meet safety, quality and regulatory standards
• Track progress against the programme
• Oversee Construction Management Plan and site acceptance
• Act as client representative on site
• Prepare assurance reports for leadership and regulators
• Capture lessons learned to drive improvements in quality, safety and delivery
• Manage and support safety incidents

Key requirements

• Extensive construction delivery and assurance experience on major programmes
• Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Chartered status or equivalent (desirable)
• Recognised HSE and environment qualifications (desirable)
• Ability to collaborate with large project teams to ensure compliance with technical standards and contractual obligations
• Commitment to service excellence and quality delivery
• Experience in construction assurance and quality management
• Knowledge of construction methods, risk management and safety requirements
• Ability to produce assurance reports for senior stakeholders
