Pinsent Masons is seeking a Transactional Construction Lawyer (2-4 PQE) to join our Birmingham‐based Projects & Construction team. This is an opportunity to work on major infrastructure and development projects, collaborate with leading practitioners, and grow within a practice known for technical excellence and sector insight.

You'll be part of a national practice advising a broad mix of public and private sector clients. Working with UK‐wide stakeholders, you'll gain exposure to significant projects while building meaningful client relationships and deep sector expertise.

The OpportunityYou will play a key role in delivering transactional construction advice on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure and development projects. Working alongside colleagues across our national network, you will support clients on a diverse range of matters spanning infrastructure, real estate development, energy, manufacturing and public sector projects.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing and innovative practice, advising on complex mandates that shape the built environment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative team, developing your technical capability while delivering commercially focused, high‐quality advice.

What You'll DoBring your transactional construction expertise and commercial approach to a team trusted by leading developers, contractors and institutional clients. Your role will include: Advising on construction aspects of major infrastructure projects, real estate developments and sector‐specific projects including energy, rail and utilitiesSupporting clients on large‐scale national programmes, including framework agreements, cladding remediation programmes and strategic project delivery modelsDrafting and negotiating construction documentation and associated project agreementsAdvising on development projects across sectors including commercial, residential, mixed‐use, universities and institutional portfoliosWorking with a range of stakeholders including contractors, developers, public bodies and investorsCollaborating closely with colleagues across projects, real estate and regulatory teams to deliver joined‐up adviceBuilding strong client relationships and contributing to ongoing business development initiativesAbout the TeamOur Birmingham Construction and Projects team advises a wide range of clients, including: Developers and Institutional InvestorsContractors and Supply Chain ParticipantsPublic Sector Bodies and UniversitiesInfrastructure and Utilities ProvidersThe team is recognised for delivering high‐quality, practical advice on complex and high‐value projects across the UK.Why Pinsent MasonsAt Pinsent Masons, we are a purpose led professional services business committed to creating a career experience that is exceptional by design.
