This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality elective care in a modern, brand new, purpose-built hospital. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering specialist care, with first-line cover provided by RMOs, the on-call responsibility is minimal and shared on a rota with colleagues. Main duties of the jobAs our General Surgeon, you will provide a full range of surgical diagnosis, treatment and care to inpatients, day patients and outpatients who require general surgery. Whilst a full time working week will comprise 40 hours (10 PAs) , working patterns will be flexible and may entail an ad-hoc mix of late evenings and weekend work to meet the requirements of the unit. Part Time applications will also be considered. As a key member of the centres team you will be working closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospitals Medical Director, and local Leadership Team.
