Consumption Value Manager, AI & API Solutions

Overview

As Consumption Value Manager, you own MuleSoft adoption outcomes across accounts, partnering with customer teams to drive value through Agent Fabric governance and orchestration. You’ll work hands-on with customers, architects, and product teams to turn technology into measurable business impact. You’ll leverage AI tools to monitor consumption, demonstrate value through proofs-of-concept, and guide governance discussions to close gaps. This role blends technical fluency with strategic account leadership in a rapidly evolving AI-driven CX/IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own business outcomes and adoption of MuleSoft solutions across assigned accounts
• Partner with customer teams and speak their language while maintaining hands-on capability
• Lead demos and build proofs-of-concept to illustrate value and address governance/orchestration gaps
• Develop fluency in Agent Fabric governance and orchestration to steer customer conversations
• Provide strategic business partnering to sales leaders and maintain healthy customer relationships
• Identify opportunities, monitor consumption, and mitigate risks using data and AI tools
• Lead best-practice sharing and contribute to scalable growth via the Ohana approach

Key requirements

• Typically 5–7+ years in customer-facing solutioning or consulting
• Enterprise IT understanding and API-driven data integration context for AI actions
• Hands-on depth in agentic capabilities (AI agent orchestration, LLM governance/guardrails, MCP and A2A)
• Ability to discuss MuleSofts Agent Fabric and guide governance/orchestration discussions
• Strong stakeholder management and capability to engage with architects and executives
• Customer-first mindset with autonomous ownership of a territory
