Container Operations Manager

Job title: Container Operations Manager Salary: Up to £43,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 Location: Stowmarket We are recruiting for an established logistics and freight business that is looking for an experienced Container Operations Manager to take responsibility for its container operation.

The Role - Container Operations Manager Run the day-to-day FCL / container operation Manage container movements from collection through to delivery Plan and coordinate vehicles, drivers and jobs Liaise with ports, depots, hauliers and customers Deal with any operational issues as they arise Monitor costs and keep the operation running efficiently Use TOPS to manage container movements Help improve processes and the way the operation runs Take responsibility for the overall performance of the FCL operation Provide support outside normal hours when required What We're Looking For - Container Operations Manager Previous experience in

container haulage Experience managing or coordinating container movements Good knowledge of TOPS Confident dealing with customers, hauliers, ports and depots Able to take ownership and make decisions Organised and commercially minded Someone who can manage the operation independently Additional Opportunity - Container Operations Manager The business is open to discussing a profit share for someone who can bring existing customers or new business Package £43,000, depending on experience 20 days holiday + bank holidays Streamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
