My client, a Product Design company situated in Cambridge are currently seeking a Contract Design Engineer for a period of 6 months.

The role carries responsibility for aesthetic form, user interface and ergonomics in projects across consumer and healthcare sectors, frequently of world-first products. Applicants should have an interest in new technology.

2:1 or higher degree in industrial design or a related discipline
A creative thinker and concept generator
Excellent hand sketching ability
Strong 2D digital presentation skills
3D CAD experience, preferably of Solidworks or ProEngineer
3D CAD rendering skills
Comfortable with hands-on modelling and workshop skills
