Contract Senior Data Analyst Reading HQ 2-3 days a week onsite SC clearance is essential Up to £76 p/h Inside IR35 A leading defence prime based in Reading are looking to onboard a Security Cleared (SC) Data Analyst with extensive SQL, Data Modelling and Visualisation experience.

The role will be supporting a critical MOD programme, so we are only able to consider candidates who hold live security clearance. Key Responsibilities Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies. Develop reports, dashboards and KPI monitoring tools using Power BI, Tableau or similar.

Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and validation. Build efficient data models and ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency. Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate insights.

Maintain clear documentation and follow data governance, privacy and security standards. Essential Skills & Experience Security cleared (SC) – This is a non negotiable requirement Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools.

Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential data responsibly. Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
