Controls Engineer

Overview

In this role you design, build and commission machinery to customer specs, writing control code from scratch and supporting on-site commissioning. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid setting, with ongoing fault finding and post-build support to ensure reliable operation. Responsibilities

• Design and build machines to customer specifications
• Write code for new build machines from scratch
• Commissioning onsite and ongoing fault finding and support
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
• Work in a hybrid setup with some office presence in Bridgwater

Key requirements

• Experience of Siemens Control Systems
• Knowledge of Motion Control
• Offline programming would be advantageous
• Hands-on engineering experience in electrical/mechanical automation
• Willingness to work from Bridgwater office part-time
