Controls & Robotics Engineer Location: Cheltenham / Tewkesbury Salary: 70K - 80K + Excellent Benefits Controls & Robotics Engineer required by well-established specialist engineering company! This is a key role designing, programming and commissioning bespoke industrial automation systems, working across both complex PLC controls and industrial robotics
Essential
Strong commercial industrial controls and robotics experience Ability to write complex PLC software from scratch using Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal Ability to design, programme and integrate industrial robotic systems HMI/touchscreen, SCADA and industrial network programming Experience with automated machinery/manufacturing systems Installation, commissioning and fault-finding experience Willing and able to travel internationally, including regular trips to North America Full UK driving licence Nice-to-have: FANUC robotics experience EPLAN electrical design Machine vision systems Project management/technical ownership experience Tremendous opportunity offering plenty of scope for career progression and international travel, working on a variety of innovative bespoke automation and robotics projects!
