Job Description Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal Location: Rotherham Salary: up to £28,000 CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with an established and growing law firm in Rotherham to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to join its expanding Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and established property department, assisting with a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters.
The Role The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to the firm's Property team, working closely with experienced fee earners and gaining exposure to a broad range of property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include
Assisting with residential property sales and purchases Supporting on both freehold and leasehold transactions Assisting with commercial property matters Opening and setting up new files Preparing and reviewing property documentation Obtaining and reviewing property searches Assisting with enquiries and liaising with third parties Dealing with mortgage offers, redemptions and lender requirements Assisting with remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties Assisting fee earners through exchange and completion Undertaking post-completion administration Maintaining accurate case management records Providing regular updates to clients and assisting with general client queries Supporting the wider Property team with the smooth running of transactions About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a residential conveyancing environment, either as a Conveyancing Assistant, Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar property support role.
You will be organised, proactive and have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively as part of a team. The role would suit someone who is keen to develop their conveyancing knowledge and progress their career within a growing property department.
Experience of commercial property would be advantageous but is not essential, as training and development will be available for the right candidate. What's on Offer?
