Cost Manager

Overview

In this Cost Manager role, you will help deliver large infrastructure projects by overseeing cost management and governance. You will work within the Glasgow Cost Management team to monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow, while collaborating with client and contractor teams. Responsibilities

• Administer contracts aligned with project objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
• Pro-actively monitor cost variance and contract cash flow and ensure timely applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs, programme performance, and value engineering
• Manage contract changes effectively to maintain governance and best practice
• Drive improvements in forecast and budget accuracy

Key requirements

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Professional body membership or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience with NEC3, Option C (desirable)
• Cost management experience in project environments
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams
