Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools - Hounslow Location: West London Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Daily Supply Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience About the Role Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of secondary schools across Hounslow that are looking for experienced and reliable individuals to support with classroom cover.

We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor who is confident managing a classroom, enjoys working with young people and has previous experience working in a UK school. We have a range of opportunities available, from flexible daily supply to regular short-term and long-term placements.

Whether you're looking to work a few days a week or want something more consistent, we can discuss options that suit your availability. Key Responsibilities Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the regular teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain focused on their work. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Support students with their learning where required.

Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons. Follow safeguarding procedures and school expectations. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Previous UK-based experience working in a secondary school or similar educational setting.

Experience managing groups of children or young people. Good classroom and behaviour management skills. Strong communication and organisational skills. The confidence to work independently and adapt to different school environments.

A professional, reliable and flexible approach. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one. The right to work in the UK. Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Unqualified Teacher or in a similar classroom-based role would be beneficial.
