The successful candidate will operate a Liebherr crawler crane with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes, supporting planned lifting operations alongside wider site activities to support manufacturing and material-handling requirements.

The Role As a Crawler Crane Operator,

your responsibilities will include

Operating a Liebherr crawler crane with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes. Carrying out 1–5 lifts per day, depending on workload and operational requirements. Undertaking lifting operations that are planned, allowing time for preparation and safe execution.

Following lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements and site health and safety procedures. Supporting manufacturing operations through general site duties and material handling. Loading and unloading wagons safely and efficiently.

Moving stock and materials to designated storage areas. Completing daily crane inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements. Working closely with manufacturing, logistics and site teams to ensure operations run smoothly.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining crane operation with wider site responsibilities. While lifting activities are planned, flexibility is important to support manufacturing and logistics requirements as workloads change.
