Credit Control / Disputed Collections Associate

Job Description: Nb we are looking for someone who has dealt with disputed claims previously Skelmersdale Full-time OR part-time hours available Monday to Friday Excellent monthly bonus typically £400£500+ Bright-Search is recruiting experienced Credit Controllers / Collections Executives for an established and successful collections business based in Skelmersdale. This opportunity is unusual because the company can consider either full-time or part-time applicants. Hours Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00am5:00pm Part-time: Flexible afternoon hours can be considered, but applicants must be able to work through until 5:00pm. For example: 12:00pm5:00pm 1:00pm5:00pm Other part-time arrangements may be considered provided your working day finishes at 5:00pm. The Role Working within an established collections team, you will be responsible for managing accounts and speaking with customers regarding outstanding balances. Your responsibilities will include: Managing your own collection accounts Making outbound calls regarding outstanding debts Negotiating payment arrangements Taking payments and securing commitments Following up agreed payment dates Maintaining accurate account notes Working towards individual collection targets Maximising recovery while maintaining a professional approach Bonus In addition to your basic salary, there is an excellent performance-related bonus scheme. Successful collectors are typically earning approximately £400£500 per month in bonus on top of their basic salary, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for somebody confident in their ability to collect. What We're Looking For Previous experience in one or more of the following would be particularly relevant: Credit control Debt collection Collections Accounts receivable Telephone-based payment collection Financial services collections You will need to be confident on the telephone, comfortable discussing outstanding money and capable of negotiating effectively while remaining professional. This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller or Collector who wants either a traditional full-time position or part-time afternoon hours with genuine bonus potential.
