Credit Controller | Leeds - onsite | Salary up to £35,000 An established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a role where building relationships is just as important as collecting payments.
You'll take a supportive and empathetic approach, working with clients to understand their circumstances, resolve queries and guide them towards positive payment outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debt. Build positive relationships with clients, taking a sensitive and understanding approach. Proactively follow up on overdue payments. Investigate and resolve account and billing queries.
Agree appropriate payment arrangements where needed. Monitor aged debt and maintain accurate records.
About you
Previous Credit Control experience. A confident communicator with a customer-focused approach. Empathetic, patient and solutions-driven. Comfortable managing difficult conversations. Organised with strong attention to detail.
