CS&A Engineer

Overview

In this CS&A Engineer role, you will support the delivery of CS&A design elements for nuclear projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams to meet safety, legal, and performance requirements. You will develop and review design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and specifications, and contribute to Revit models for CS&A and mechanical piping.

You’ll ensure outputs are checked, compliant, and fit-for-purpose, while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders. This opportunity offers hands-on design delivery in a highly regulated environment with a clear impact on safety-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Produce CS&A design work packages (specifications, drawings, verifications) to meet requirements, time, cost, and quality targets
• Develop Revit models for CS&A and Mechanical Piping with lead support
• Support and review CS&A design deliverables (designs, assessments, drawings, reports) and approve outputs
• Demonstrate experience in nuclear industry delivery (preferred)

Key requirements

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear
• Familiar with a range of design technologies and techniques
• Production of CS&A design documents (civil/structural calculations, drawings, specifications)
• Qualified and experienced user of Autodesk Revit
• Experience of steelwork design with knowledge of Eurocode 3, BS5950-1
• Capable of independent, autonomous work during package delivery
• Able to seek input from other engineers and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Able to present information clearly to diverse audiences
